What Noisy Note is, in plain terms
Make your event sound right
Noisy Note is my live sound and event production business here in Las Cruces. I'm Ethan Campbell. I studied Music Business at NMSU with an emphasis on live sound and post-production, and since then I've mixed everything from punk bands to opera singers, run sound for the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra and the NMSU Jazz Band and Choirs, and produced recurring comedy and drag nights at Little Toad Creek.
I also front a country band, so I know what it's like to stand on stage and not be able to hear yourself. That's the problem I'm trying to solve for every act I work with.
Who this is for
- Bands and solo musicians playing bars, breweries, patios, and private parties who need a PA and someone competent to run it.
- Venues and promoters who want a reliable engineer for a one-off show or a weekly series.
- Comedy, drag, and variety producers who need vocals that cut through a loud room and a host who can keep the night moving.
- Weddings and private events that need ceremony audio, toasts you can actually hear, and music for the reception.
- Schools, churches, and organizations putting on a concert, a fundraiser, a panel, or a speaker.
How it usually works
You email me the date, the venue, and a rough idea of the lineup. I ask a few questions about the room and the acts, send you a quote, and we lock in the date. On the day, I load in early, get the system tuned to the room before anyone arrives, sound-check the performers, run the show, and load out after. Most of what I do you'll never notice, which is the point.
